Quick Start: Cricut

Set Up & Design

1. Log into the computer (MacBook at University Park)
2. Create desired design in Cricut Design Space
   • If using multiple components in one design, select all and Group them
3. Place desired material on Cricut cutting mat

Preparing, Cutting, & Finishing

1. Click Make in the top right corner of Design Space
   • If creating an iron-on vinyl design, press Mirror
   • If creating stickers, follow Cricut instructions for Print then Cut, after it has printed place an adhesive transparent sheet over for protection
2. Load cutting mat, with desired material, onto the Cricut rails and press the flashing arrow
3. Press Continue on the computer
4. When the C or Play button begins flashing on the Cricut, press it and it will begin cutting
5. Once it has finished cutting, press the flashing arrow, and remove the material from the cutting mat
   • If using adhesive vinyl, use transfer tape to transfer the design
   • For iron-on vinyl, follow heat press instructions
